Ms. Kiffer joins XL Insurance from ACE Marine, New York where she was responsible for a regional book of marine liability business. She has held management, broker and underwriting positions with Aon Risk Services, CNA’s marine division -- Marine Office of America Company (MOAC), Jardine Insurance Brokers and St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company. A graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) Maritime College, Ms. Kiffer holds a Third Mate’s License from the United States Coast Guard and an Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM) designation.
Ms. Kiffer, who will be based in New York, will report to XL Insurance’s Marine Underwriting Manager James Thielebeule. XL Insurance’s MOE underwriting teams in New York and London provide domestic marine coverages or tailored global insurance programs from a comprehensive portfolio of Hull, Cargo, Offshore Energy and Marine Liability insurance.
