Hai Dao Hoang Joins XLCA as a Managing Director In the Global Infrastructure Group

New York, New York, October 18, 2004 - XL Capital Group Assurance Inc. (XLCA) announced that Hai Dao Hoang joined XLCA today as a Managing Director in the Global Infrastructure group, a newly created position. He is based in New York and reports to Alberto Ramos, the XLCA Managing Director who heads the company's Global Infrastructure group from its Madrid office.
Mr. Hoang has 25 years of U.S. municipal, global infrastructure, and project finance experience. He worked for 20 years at MBIA Insurance Corp., and most recently he acted as Country Manager for Chile. He began his career at Harris Bank in Chicago, later moving to Ambac Assurance Corp.
