Jamie Veghte was appointed Chief Executive of Reinsurance Operations in 2006. He has held a number of senior roles at XL Group, including President of XL Re America, President and COO of XL Re Ltd, Chief Operating Officer of XL Re Europe, President of XL Re Latin America and General Manager of the London Branch of XL Re Ltd.
Before joining XL Group, Jamie was Senior Vice President of Underwriting for Mid Ocean Reinsurance Company and Senior Vice President of Underwriting for Winterthur Reinsurance Corporation of America. He is a past chairman of the Reinsurance Association of America. Jamie graduated from Washington and Lee University and the Advanced Executive Program of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
